Why I like Christopher Hitchens

Name another outspoken atheist and skeptic who would point out the idiocy of the "George Bush is so dumb..." jokes. He has to be the best example of a free thinker there is (more so than most self-proclaimed free thinkers I've met, who all laugh along at idiotic "George Bush is so dumb..." jokes). The fact that people still identify themselves as either right or left wing, what should be an obvious false dichotomy, tends to show they are in fact unthinking drones. Hitchens takes each issue on its own merits and applies the same ruthless logic, no matter where the conclusion takes him. (I might not always agree with his reasoning or conclusions.)

He is also more than happy to give people the finger. Another reason to admire him.
